Program Rules

Registration entitles one team to receive team materials, evaluation of two (2) Practice Problems and one (1) Qualifying Problem. FPSP materials may be duplicated for use with other teams coached by the same coach, but only registered teams are eligible for evaluation. Participation in the National Final competition and the International Competition occur via invitation to the top teams.

In Team Global Issues Problem Solving, a team is defined as four (4) persons (or less in an emergency). The grade level of the team member in the highest grade determines the competitive division of the booklet.

Each school must provide a qualified evaluator for every three (3) or fewer Team Registrations per division. The evaluator will evaluate the booklets for practice problems, qualifying problems and/or the booklets at the National Finals.
