National Final

SCENARIO WRITING (SINGAPORE) COMPETITION
The top three student winners in each division receive a trophy at the National Finals Awards Ceremony. The 1st place winners from each division will read their scenarios during the National Finals.

ON-SITE SCENARIO WRITING COMPETITION
Invited scenario writers are asked to write a spontaneous scenario based on the National Final future scene. Students are randomly assigned to teams of three or four students. The random assignment of students encourages students to mix and share their ideas. The team members collectively decide on a general theme and setting for a futuristic scenario. Then each team member writes a scenario from different perspective based on those parameters.

Scenarios are evaluated on the same criteria used in the Scenario Writing (Singapore) Competition with an additional criterion pertaining to the response to the future scene. Each scenario is evaluated by 2 – 3 evaluators.

The results of the On-Site Scenario Writing Competition will have NO bearing on the main results of the 2010 Scenario Writing (Singapore) Competition.
